Exciting news!

New collections available for licensing are coming very soon

Trend

Need help navigating trend forecasts? With experience both in-house and freelance, I’ve worked with retail head offices translating homeware trends into commercially successful product ranges. Trend platforms and reports like WGSN can be overwhelming. I help interpret these forecasts and turn them into clear, brand-appropriate and commercial design directions, colour palettes, and product ideas that work for their customers.

My work

A selection of surface pattern and product designs created for retail brands

About the designer

Hi, I’m Dani, a surface pattern and product designer based in the Yorkshire countryside.

With extensive experience designing homeware ranges in-house for major retailers including Asda and Dunnes Stores, alongside freelance collaborations with brands such as Matalan and Very, I create commercially focused designs for homeware and lifestyle products.

I collaborate with brands on freelance product and print design, applying patterns across finished products and supporting ranges from concept through to production. My experience also includes working closely with overseas suppliers and visiting factories in the Far East and India to review samples and manufacturing processes, giving me a strong understanding of how design translates into successful retail products.

In addition to freelance work, I license artwork to brands including Ion8 and Evite, and continue to develop new collections for licensing across a growing range of product categories.

Inspired by nature, the countryside around me, and life as a mum, my work features feminine, joyful patterns with a soft, whimsical feel.
